1001 – SEMI DRY CAVA ALBERT MONELLS

 Our Cava Semi Dry is a cava of incredible quality produced in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, the heart of the Cava Designation of Origin. It is an amazing and aromatic cava of extraordinary freshness. Made with the traditional queen varieties of cava. With them we get a classic cava according to the artisan method that guarantees excellent quality.
Varieties: Maccabee (45%), Xarel·lo (34%) and Parellada (21%)
Aging: Rest for a minimum of 20 months at constant temperature and controlled humidity.
Graduation: 11.5% by Alc.
Reducing Sugars: <35gr / lt
Bottle type and capacity: Standard 75 Cl.
Tasting Notes: Pale yellow colour with fine, persistent bubbles. Very fresh aroma, where it combines the fruit from the base wine with the first notes of confectionery from the aging of the two years of cava. In the mouth it is fruity, pleasant taste, soft, round, creamy and sweet. The nose offers soft notes of fresh apple, accompanied by aromas of citrus combined with incipient aromas of toast and pastry provided by the yeasts.
Service: Consume cold (between 4-6ºC). If necessary, cool for a couple of hours in an ice bucket with salted water and ice. Avoid sudden cooling in the freezer. It can be stored vertically.
Pairing: Ideal as a welcome drink or aperitif. Excellent with dessert.

1113 – CAVA BRUT RESERVE CHÂTEAU MONELLS

Cava Brut Reserve Château Monells is a high quality organic cava, made in the traditional way, without the use of chemicals. A cava capable of being the star of your most special events. Cultivation of wine made with 100% organic grapes. No pesticides or chemicals have been used.
Varieties: Chardonnay (40%), Maccabee (20%) and Xarel·lo (20%)
Aging: rests for a minimum of 20 months at a constant temperature and controlled humidity.
Graduation: 12% Vol Bottle type and capacity: standard 75 Cl.
Tasting note: Golden colour with very subtle reddish tones, which go into the noblest properties of the grape. Fine and elegant bubbles creating a consistent crown. With an elegant and complex aroma, notes of white fruit with hints of honey, toast and citrus blend. Intense and persistent freshness with perfect balance, presenting a different cava with extraordinary sensations.
Service: It is recommended to serve it between 5 and 7ºC temperature.
Pairing: it is a cava suitable for meals, such as dishes with a certain strength, such as mushrooms, cheeses of all kinds, canned snails, red meats (including game, such as deer), rabbit garlic, fish, anchovies, cod, etc. It is also suitable to accompany some desserts, such as crispy pancakes or thick cakes.

 

1005 – CAVA BRUT SPECIAL RESERVE  – Limited and Numbered Edition

Cava Brut Reserve Especial is an organic cava made by the “traditional method” (or champenoise), with white grapes of the Chardonnay, Maccabee and Xarel·lo varieties. In the glass it has a bright and clean straw yellow colour with a harmonious release of bubbles. Aging for at least 24 months, it provides an aroma where creamy hints of lees are perceived, along with notes of ripe white fruit and flowers.

Graduation: 12% by Alc. Contains Sulphites.
Bottle type and capacity: Smoked elegance of 75 Cl.

Varieties: 100% Pinot Noïr
Aging: It rests for a minimum of 18 months at a constant temperature and controlled humidity.
Graduation: 11.5% Vol
Bottle type and capacity: 75 Cl transparent standard.
Tasting note: Pink in layers. Intense cava with elegant notes of red fruit, including currants and strawberries, with a refreshing mineral background. Delicate on the palate, with a medium intensity flavor and an elegant and refined character that perfectly reflects the terrain where it is grown.
Service: We recommend serving it at a temperature between 5 and 6ºC.
Pairing: Perfect with most snacks. It is ideal with fish such as salmon or grilled tuna where it is complemented in both colour and flavour. For the cheese, taste it with cream cheeses like Brie.
