5178 – MARC OF CHAMPAGNE MOËT & CHANDON of 70 Cl.
Description: Moët & Chandon’s Champagne Frame is produced in the traditional way: it is the result of distilling the remains of the pressed grape from the champagne made in the cellar. Once fermented, the Champagne Marc is distilled and aged in oak barrels for several years. Marc of Champagne is one of the 30 translations of the French ‘eaux-de-Vie’, especially used to refer to those spirits produced in the Champagne wine region.
Sight: In sight it is straw yellow with mother-of-pearl edges.
Nose: The nose has an intense and elegant aroma. Its notes of tropical fruit (banana) and exotic fruit (papaya) are perceived alongside a subtle touch of dried fruit (hazelnut) in an intense floral background.
Mouth: In the mouth it has a very elegant taste. Long attack with a delicate palate. The notes of fruit and flowers are noticed again. It has a slight presence of alcohol but very well integrated. Slow finish with a retro taste of nuts.
